PT Vale produces nickel in matte, an intermediate product, from lateritic ores at our integrated mining and processing facilities near Sorowako on the island of Sulawesi. Our entire production is sold in US dollars under long-term contracts for refining in Japan.
Since the establishment in July 1968, PT Vale has been operating under the contract of Work agreement with the Government of Indonesia to explore, mine, process, and produce nickel. The total area of CoW is 190.510 hectares.
Junior Mechanical Engineer (Code: JMCE-RN)
Purpose of the Role
- To provide Mechanical Engineering Technical Expertise to support all Mechanical work related to Engineering Department s Accountability. To undertake Engineering Design function for capital and operating projects, to meet the project requirements and PT VI standards.
Requirements
- Minimum S1 – degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline, with minimum GPA 3.0 (scale 4.0)
- Minimum 18 months experience in related field
- English communication skill – fluent in both written and spoke
